I have a cedar chest full to the top with pictures, many of which my mother gave me. It will take me some time to get through all of them, if I ever do. As I find ones of interest I will add them to this page, so that you can get an idea of what we looked like. You may even recognize some of us if you lived in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in the 1950’s and 60’s. When my mother, myself, and my younger brother, Mark, first came to live in Cape with my grandmother, we lived on Cedar Lane. That was about 1955. My oldest brother, Tim, stayed in Illinois with our father so he is not in many of the pictures. My youngest brother, Jack Maupin, was born in 1960 so he will be in some of the pictures. However, he did not attend May Greene School. We moved away from the May Greene School district before he started school. Enjoy!

- My youngest brother Jack Maupin on his rocking horse, stuffed elephant beside him
- Me Darla – born 1950 – with my brother Mark
- This was taken at 1240 South Sprigg Street, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Not sure of the date, Jack looks older, maybe it was taken in 1963 or 64. Now he drives a real fire truck!
